Escaping Justice Book in Production

I’m excited to announce that my book “Escaping Justice: Impunity for state crimes in the age of accountability” is now in production with Cambridge University Press. The book is expected to be published in Summer 2025.

This work presents a theory of strategic adaptation in which governments circumvent the risks of accountability by adapting international norms, based on extensive fieldwork in Rwanda, Uganda, and Northern Ireland.
